Kitchen & Bathroom Issue

Habitus 63 is arguably the most aspirational issue of the year with Kitchens & Bathrooms to dream about. Whether a family hub, an entertainer’s paradise or somewhere to grad a quick meal, how we live in and spend time in the kitchen is a very personal question that requires thought and an abundance of resources. Always the aspirational eye candy of design, we have some truly lovely kitchens from Greg Natale, YSG, Splinter Society, Sally Caroline and Studio Johnston. Bathrooms are just as important with Greg Natale, Studio Tate, YSG and Those Architects sharing some fabulous insights

Habitus Loves… Baths

There’s nothing more relaxing than slipping into a beautiful bath, and we design hunters know that there’s more to a bath than just the water. Here are 8 of our favourites…

Ellipso Duo

Designed by:

Phoenix DesignWhy we love it: There’s something about the size of this freestanding bath that scream opulence – as a good bath should – and it looks amazing in black. Now for the chandelier.

Where you can get it:

Designed by:

DadoWhy we love it: This isn’t a huge bath, but it is perfectly proportioned and offers a freestanding option for those with limited space. It’s also a deep bath which means big volume.

Where you can get it:

Scoop

Designed by:

Michael Schmidt for FalperWhy we love it: One word, ‘unique’. The wonderful scoop form of this bath just makes you want to slide on in and while away the hours – and in some awesome colours too.

Where you can get it:

Rogerseller

Latis Bath

Designed by:

OmvivoWhy we love it: The amazing combination of timber (storage cabinet) and white bath is beautiful and the angular aesthetic unusual for baths, but seriously striking.

Where you can get it:

Agape Ottocento

title

Designed by:

Benedini AssociatiWhy we love it: The traditional claw-foot bath re-imagined. We adore the rounded lip of this bath and the curves against the straight legs.

Where you can get it:

Artedomus

Acanthus Bath

Designed by: Dado

Why we love it: This low-profile solid bath has real presence. Large, certain, perfect.

Where you can get it:

Cinque

title

Designed by:

AQVAWhy we love it:
We’re used to the average bath; long, sometimes rectangular, sometimes
oval, but generally pretty standard. Well the Cinque throws all that out
the window with its organic flower-like shape. Definitely made for two!

Where you can get it:

AQVA

Agape inout

Designed by:

Benedini AssociatiWhy we love it: This round beauty looks good enough to share. It’s fine aesthetic and shape are like a china bowl – elegance.
