The 'Bespoke' Issue

With Guest Editor Yasmine Ghoniem, we are launched headfirst into the world of unique and eclectic design. From architecture to interiors, there is nothing that can’t be enlivened with bespoke interventions. Granted, a stunningly beautiful home can be made by simply shopping for the best, but when the artist’s hand is introduced, some pure magic is possible. Whether it is an artwork or a new upholstery, a built-in component or a mosaic inlay, these gestures, whether bold or subtle, are what make the home unique.

Maserati Ultimate Drive

Seeing isn’t believing any more, with the experience of
getting behind the wheel the ultimate for car lovers.

Static car shows of old just aren’t cutting it anymore. With
the interactive worlds of the internet and gaming consoles, Maserati are
offering something new for the motor enthusiast. While many exotica brands
displaying as ‘untouchables’ at car shows, this experiential offering from the
luxury manufacturer is irresistible.

Taking place at race circuits in both Sydney and Melbourne,
the unique format allows Maserati lovers to take part in low speed slalom and
brake-swerve safety courses to ‘get their eye in’.

The invitation-only event gives attendees the chance to take
three current models – including the Gran Turismo and Quattroporte S – for a
spin on the circuit, with the benefit of an experienced instructor (an
ex-racing car driver in some cases) in the passenger seat to offer advice and
encouragement.

The next drive days will take place on 20 October in
Victoria and 6 November in Sydney. Participants will also receive a gift bag
with an array of gifts from a number of exclusive brands including the latest
issue of Habitus magazine.
