The 'Bespoke' Issue

With Guest Editor Yasmine Ghoniem, we are launched headfirst into the world of unique and eclectic design. From architecture to interiors, there is nothing that can’t be enlivened with bespoke interventions. Granted, a stunningly beautiful home can be made by simply shopping for the best, but when the artist’s hand is introduced, some pure magic is possible. Whether it is an artwork or a new upholstery, a built-in component or a mosaic inlay, these gestures, whether bold or subtle, are what make the home unique.

TimerScale

Presenting the new JACOB JENSEN™ TimerScale designed by the world-famous Danish design studio.

Designed by: Jacob Jensen

I am: Kitchen Scales & Timer

About me:

TimerScale is a unique product – it’s as simple as that! It represents the sharp and stringent design, which for many decades has been the trademark of Danish designer Jacob Jensen.

The sandblasted sides of aluminium, the black polished surface and the LCD display create a look which appeals to many and makes the product a solid candidate for another Jacob Jensen classic.

Intelligent design

TimerScale is both a kitchen scale and a kitchen timer. The functionality of the TimerScale is hands-on and easy to approach.

To use the scale function, place the TimerScale on a flat surface. The scale automatically switches off after 2 minutes when not in use. To operate the timer function, hang the scale on the wall.

The product is also very robust and easy to clean due to a focused selection of materials.

Materials:

  • Aluminium
  • PMMA
  • ABS with sprayed rubber coating

Dimensions:

W 105 x H 270 x D 23 mm
