With Guest Editor Yasmine Ghoniem, we are launched headfirst into the world of unique and eclectic design. Granted, a stunningly beautiful home can be made by simply shopping for the best, but when the artist’s hand is introduced, some pure magic is possible. Whether it is an artwork or a new upholstery, a built-in component or a mosaic inlay, these gestures, whether bold or subtle, are what make the home unique.

The BB armchair, designed by Blumer and Borghi for Poliform, is a unique and original combination of a comfortingly tactile leather cover over a polyurethane structure.
The BB is a unique armchair with its exoskeleton completely constructed in hide. The armchair is injected with light expended polyurethane, which maintains the shape of the chair. A design that looks for the efficiency of the materials that go into creating it, the BB paves the way for a new “aesthetic efficiency”.
