The 'Bespoke' Issue

With Guest Editor Yasmine Ghoniem, we are launched headfirst into the world of unique and eclectic design. From architecture to interiors, there is nothing that can’t be enlivened with bespoke interventions. Granted, a stunningly beautiful home can be made by simply shopping for the best, but when the artist’s hand is introduced, some pure magic is possible. Whether it is an artwork or a new upholstery, a built-in component or a mosaic inlay, these gestures, whether bold or subtle, are what make the home unique.

Sydney lifestyle and furniture retailer Meizai secured the talents of Biasol Design Studio for the design and creation of the newly available Tre Mezzo range.

The chair collection is designed for easy, elegant living; with clean lines creating a timeless look without distancing the furniture from the craftsman manufacturing process.

The range was driven by a passion to create a setting that sits between the busyness of everyday life. “Our aim was to develop a collection inspired by the craft of the manufacturing process,” Biasol principal Jean-Pierre Biasol says, “We wanted Tre Mezzo to keep things simple and allow new Australian design to enter the market place”
