Time to Take Design Outside

As summer hits us, the time to embrace the outdoors – but there’s no need to sacrifice your design love, especially with Tait’s new Breeze Modular.

One of Tait’s most elegant and renowned collections to date, Breeze, is expanding with a modular collection for outdoor living this sunny season. Breeze Modular is a contemporary interpretation of the classic outdoor lounge setting, and is Tait’s first modular offering.

Comprising seven unique modules that can be assembled in various ways, Breeze Modular brings together corner and central seating units as well as coffee table and ottoman options, unified within the brand’s signature woven-wire detail and timber arms.

Breeze Modular has been designed to offer a designer option to sociability in outdoor living, particularly relevant now as Australia heats up in the summer months. Whether on a poolside terrace, rooftop bar, urban balcony, sprawling garden, or even indoor sunroom, the modular, mix-and-match nature of the range allows for easy placement, adding a designer touch to any summer space.

Conceived with authentic design and top craftsmanship principles, the series is manufactured with a zinc-plated steel frame and woven-wire mesh that can be powder coated in a variety of UV-stable colours. Both FSC Spotted Gum or Accoya timber are available for arm rests and table tops, while the coffee tables and ottomans can be selected with timber, glass or cushioned tops.

The collection’s raw materiality can be softened by seat and back cushions offering optimum comfort, upholstered in an extensive selection of full exterior-grade fabrics, expertly chosen for outdoor use.

As a milestone addition to the Breeze collection, Managing Director Gordon Tait comments, “I’ve always loved the honesty of Breeze’s materials, raw angles and three-dimensional wire. Its unique weave detail allows it to evoke a tactile, soft and airy feel. Breeze Modular has introduced a contemporary sophistication to the series and Tait’s overall offering more than ever before.”

Breeze Modular is available immediately for purchase specification through Tait showrooms and nationwide stockists.
