Kitchen & Bathroom Issue

Habitus 63 is arguably the most aspirational issue of the year with Kitchens & Bathrooms to dream about. Whether a family hub, an entertainer’s paradise or somewhere to grad a quick meal, how we live in and spend time in the kitchen is a very personal question that requires thought and an abundance of resources. Always the aspirational eye candy of design, we have some truly lovely kitchens from Greg Natale, YSG, Splinter Society, Sally Caroline and Studio Johnston. Bathrooms are just as important with Greg Natale, Studio Tate, YSG and Those Architects sharing some fabulous insights

Caesarstone cleans up on ‘The Block 2012’

Caesarstone® Australia congratulates Brad and Lara whose home at 405 Dorcas Street, South Melbourne, won Sunday night’s final with a record sale price of $1,620,000. It goes to show any worthwhile renovation relies on investing in quality brands and materials like Caesarstone®.

Brad and Lara’s Freedom Kitchen featured an island and benchtops in 40mm Caesarstone® Classico Ocean Foam™, one of the newest additions to the Classico collection. Incidentally they selected the same colour for the kitchen makeover they completed on the Montague Street Challenge house which used a 20mm finish.

The Block 2012 saw three out of the four teams choose Caesarstone® surfaces for their kitchens. Brad and Lara opted for the ever popular Ocean Foam, Dale and Sophie wowed the judges with their Cocoa Fudge kitchen while Mike and Andrew’s Shitake kitchen claimed top prize during kitchen week.

The colours chosen by The Block 2012 contestants are from the latest release of five new colours from Caesarstone® that have been designed to work in a variety of home interiors and applications.

These new designs are unique and exclusive to the Caesarstone® brand, backed by advanced technology, proven quality and trusted after sales service.
