Living in the Environment Issue

Issue 62 is the first issue of the year and always a great time to put our best foot forward. With Adam Goodrum, the loveliest man in design, as Guest Editor, we draw on his insights as a furniture designer, artist and educator to look at the makers shaping our design world. Sustainability has never been more important, and increasingly this is a consideration from the start with projects designed to address their immediate environment as well as the longevity of the planet. From the coldest winters to the most tropical of summers, addressing how we live in the environment is crucial to creating the perfect home.

Château 75

By La Cornue

Château 75 is the baby of the Château series. It’s a small but stately range, and a practical choice for home chefs with limited kitchen space.

At 75-centimetres-wide, Château 75 features one vaulted oven – in either gas or electric – and a stainless-steep hob available in five possible configurations.

The Château line is the flagship of La Cornue. Each Château 75 is exclusively made to order in La Cornue’s workshop outside of Paris. It is available in a variety of 50 standard enamel or metal body finishes, with a choice for five trims. Each range is made by hand and numbered by the craftsmen.

The artisanal nature of La Cornue is expressed in the beauty and craftsmanship of every detail of the design. As the majestic centrepiece of the kitchen, Château 75 exhibits timeless, prestigious style, and will be the pride and pleasure of your kitchen and palate.
