Kitchen & Bathroom Issue

Kitchens and bathrooms are, arguably, the most consequential rooms in the home — and almost always the first to be considered. Whether approached through renovation or new build, their design has the power to recalibrate how a home is lived in and experienced. For this issue, our guest editor, Mardi Doherty, principal of Studio Doherty, explores what it truly means to transform these pivotal spaces — and why thoughtful design in kitchens and bathrooms delivers dividends far beyond the purely functional. Her insights both as an architect and as her own client give an open and honest account of the thinking behind creating a home.

Château 90 is small but impressive. A compact yet powerful range that’s perfect for medium-sized and smaller kitchens.

Château 90 measures 90-centimetres wide, and has one large vaulted oven in either gas or electric. The stainless-steel hob is available in six possible configurations to maximise performance.

The Château line is the flagship of La Cornue. Each Château 90 is exclusively made to order in La Cornue’s workshop outside of Paris. It is available in a variety of 50 standard enamel or metal body finishes, with a choice for five trims. Each range is made by hand and numbered by the craftsmen.

The artisanal nature of La Cornue is expressed in the beauty and craftsmanship of every detail of the design. As the majestic centrepiece of the kitchen, Château 90 exhibits timeless, prestigious style, and will be the pride and pleasure of your kitchen and palate.
