Kitchen & Bathroom Issue

Habitus 63 is arguably the most aspirational issue of the year with Kitchens & Bathrooms to dream about. Whether a family hub, an entertainer’s paradise or somewhere to grad a quick meal, how we live in and spend time in the kitchen is a very personal question that requires thought and an abundance of resources. Always the aspirational eye candy of design, we have some truly lovely kitchens from Greg Natale, YSG, Splinter Society, Sally Caroline and Studio Johnston. Bathrooms are just as important with Greg Natale, Studio Tate, YSG and Those Architects sharing some fabulous insights

Beauty Eternal With The New Silestone Collection

Eternal is the dazzling new collection of Silestone colours, devoted to showcasing the most exotic marble in the world.

Silestone, the world’s leading brand in the quartz surface category, is launching the Eternal range, a dazzling collection of colours paying homage to the most sought-after and exotic marbles in natural stone.

The Silestone Eternal Collection comes full of the seductive character that defines this noble, enduring material, which has been a source of beauty and inspiration for us since the beginning of history. Aesthetics and functionality are fused together in a proposal designed for even the most demanding projects.

Eternal Calacatta Gold, Eternal Statuario, Charcoal Soapstone, Pearl Jasmine, Eternal Serena and Eternal Marquina are the names bestowed on the seven new shades of finishes, which are the first Silestone colours manufactured with N-boost technology. N-Boost is a Cosentino innovation that makes the cleaning and maintenance of the surfaces easier and quicker than before, and also achieves a greater intensity of colour and surface brightness.

Thanks to the tireless work of the design team at Cosentino R&D Department, Silestone Eternal has a visually arresting style upon examination, yet a natural and unobtrusive aesthetic within a space. The brand’s innovation has seen Cosentino design with flourishing patterns of highlights, visible from the surface right through to the depths of the slab, even at intersections and edges. Furthermore, the patterns of highlights are faithfully repeated with each round of production, so as not to lose one iota of the original essence of the design.

Eternal Calacatta Gold is a colour made up of a white background through which elegant, wide grey highlights are interspersed with unexpected golden glints.

Eternal Statuario has been inspired by classic Italian Carrara marble, with a white surface and very soft, sparkling highlights in a shade of grey.

Charcoal Soapstone is inspired by the popular “soap stone”, and has a blue-grey finish with powerful, grey highlights – characterised by rotundity, depth and a sense of movement.

Pearl Jasmine saw White Macaubas marble as its inspiration, offering a marbled, white background with interwoven grey waves and highlights.

Eternal Serena sees a finish of grey stone with fine, gentle, white lines drawn through to its depths, showing the subtlety and softness of nature.

Eternal Marquina is evocative of beautiful, Spanish Black Marquina marble and presents an intense, black background with convincing, intense, white details.
