The Life Outside Issue

Introducing the Life Outside issue of Habitus magazine. With life increasingly being absorbed into a digital space, there is never a more important moment to hold something tangible. In this context, the power of nature to have a physiological impact on our sense of wellbeing has never been more important. So how can we cultivate the benefits of the our natural environment in the most intimate of places – our homes? This was the question that helped to bring this issue of Habitus to life.

DIY Concrete House Ring

The Concrete House Ring (featured in the Habitus Pavilion at this year’s Sydney Indesign), has launched a DIY version on kickstarter.com – an innovative and creative idea to involve consumers in creating their own jewellery.

The DIY Concrete House Ring is a high quality silver and concrete composite unisex ring. The ring is packaged in a DIY kit, which invites you to experience the unique and rewarding process of making. Created by architecture graduate Linda Bennett (aka archi-ninja), the design is rooted in the architecture and construction industry.
