Paint your room in light with the FLUXO smart lamp

FLUXO is the world’s first truly smart lamp, allowing more configuration and user flexibility than ever before

Launching following a hugely successful Kickstarter campaign, FLUXO is the brainchild of Vienna based lighting group Luke Roberts, and is a smart lamp that gives the user unprecedented control over lighting solutions with the touch a smartphones.

Not just smart in tech but also in stylish design, FLUXO is designed to serve as a contemporary addition to any room, and is controlled through an integrated smartphone app. The app doesn’t just allow the user to control the brightness though, with intensity, direction, color, and even distribution of light to particular areas able to changed to suit needs on the fly.

This configurable light options means that the lighting can be made to to changing spaces, times of the day, moods, and social situations. Take a dinner party for example; the table can serve as the lit highlight during dinner before the wider dining room or lounge area receives the majority of the lighting as the activity moves.

“FLUXO allows us to essentially paint our rooms with light, our way, in any way. Our Kickstarter campaign will allow us to effectively launch the first generation of a lighting system that can truly be applied to any situation,” says Cofounder Robert Kopka, “FLUXO combines state of the art LED technology with sophisticated lenses, diffusers, and a design that can bring unprecedented practicality to the home without impacting the aesthetics that we all want.”

Further separating the light from others is the uniquely developed fixture within the built in LEDs. This enable FLUXO to give off an increased amount of luminosity compared to other LED bulbs, and directional lighting controls mean a longer LED lifetime and reduced power bill.

The lamp is planned for release later in 2016.
