The 'Future' Issue

Habitus #64 Welcome to the HABITUS ‘Future’ and ‘Habitus House of the Year’ Issue. We are thrilled to have interior designer of excellence, Brahman Perera, as Guest Editor and to celebrate his Sri Lankan heritage through an interview with Palinda Kannangara and his extraordinary Ek Onkar project – divine! Thinking about the future, we look at the technology shaping our approach to sustainability and the ways traditional materials are enjoying a new-found place in the spotlight. Profiles on Yvonne Todd, Amy Lawrance, and Kallie Blauhorn are rounded out with projects from Studio ZAWA, SJB, Spirit Level, STUDIOLIVE, Park + Associates and a Lake House made in just 40 days by the wonderful Wutopia Lab, plus the short list for the Habitus House of the Year!

A Warm Welcome for Williams

Smart and sexy, the Williams seating system comes in several options for individual customisation.

Designed
By Rodolfo Dordoni.

Made
By Minotti S.p.A.

About
The Williams seating system with its classic look, has smart proportions and immediate comfort resulting from ‘thermosensitive’ self-modelling polyurethane technology, which allows optimal weight distribution. The one-piece seat cushion and the seamless details create a dynamic and light aesthetic. The Williams system has several options – standard version, Square version and Mix version – to make a variety of combinations – for formal and informal environments, conviviality and comfort.

Three distinct models, though simply shaped, are synonymous with the greatest care for detail, resting on a smart laser-cut base finished in bright nickel titanium, for a floating appearance. In addition, Williams can be matched with sophisticated consoles – in specially designed dimensions – with bronze glass or special scratch-proof lacquered tops, the use and performance of the product can be further improved.

Materials
As well as the various hard surface options for the matching console, a wide selection of fabric and leathers upholsteries are available from the Minotti S.p.A. collection.

Dimensions
The Williams seating system is composed by several elements of different sizes.
