Issue 62 is the first issue of the year and always a great time to put our best foot forward. With Adam Goodrum, the loveliest man in design, as Guest Editor, we draw on his insights as a furniture designer, artist and educator to look at the makers shaping our design world. Manufactured by TON (the European factory that has specialized in fine furniture for generations) the Jutland’s silken solid European oak makes every piece an inimitable original. Determined by the anatomical structure of the wood, its grain, annual growth cycles, pith rays, harvesting and cutting techniques, colour and lustre, each table carries an intimate private history and exudes persona. The production process ends with the lacquering stage where the full diligence of TON’s renowned team is obvious in the loving attention to detail.

Now with the new extendable modifications, the Jutland Natural Solid Oak Dining Table permits entertainment to be a grand, ceremonious affair. From a standard table length of 200cm to 260cm, the seating arrangements grow from a comfortable 8 to an equally comfortable party of 10. Without a doubt, the Jutland Natural Oak Dining Table is the perfect piece for the entertaining and aesthetic satisfaction we all deserve.
