Kitchen & Bathroom Issue

Kitchens and bathrooms are, arguably, the most consequential rooms in the home — and almost always the first to be considered. Whether approached through renovation or new build, their design has the power to recalibrate how a home is lived in and experienced. For this issue, our guest editor, Mardi Doherty, principal of Studio Doherty, explores what it truly means to transform these pivotal spaces — and why thoughtful design in kitchens and bathrooms delivers dividends far beyond the purely functional. Her insights both as an architect and as her own client give an open and honest account of the thinking behind creating a home.

An Integrated refrigerator will enhance the stylish elegance of your kitchen with a more streamlined and uniform profile. A built-in fridge does not protrude but fits flush with the surrounding kitchen cabinetry, resulting in a cleaner, sleek, high-end appearance, particularly suited to open-plan living.

Kleenmaid’s Integrated top mount refrigerator with bottom mount freezer model CRZ25511 is a built in 266 Litre appliance (refrigerator 189L, freezer 77L) with many great features. These include Ultra-efficient thermal insulation, Iso-air no-mix cooled air system which prevents the air of the freezer and refrigerator mixing, a wide airflow path allowing a wider and deeper internal space, a no frost cooling system, a concealed extra chilled beverage compartment, slide-out frozen pizza/dessert tray and easy to use electronic touch controls with child lock.

Activate the ULTRAFreeze function when food is placed in the freezer, applying extra cooling for quicker freezing results to help maintain the nutritional value of your food.

This refrigerator is constructed with a full metal cabinet for long life and electrical safety, high quality commercial grade hinges and toughened glass shelving. The two B.L.D.C. (Brushless DC) air circulation fans have a combined energy consumption of 3.12W and are much quieter than traditional brushed fans which contributes to the CRZ25511’s low noise rating of only 41dbA. Reduced wear and friction means the Kleenmaid B.L.D.C. fan motors are more reliable than traditional brushed fan motors and last longer.

All parts are provided for the integrated installation and left or right hand door openings are interchangeable with no additional parts required. To add to your peace of mind, this appliance is covered by our 5 year, full parts and labour warranty, and is supported by our highly skilled national service network.

Door panels not included and are for illustration purposes only.
