New from Kartell by Laufen

The latest tapware collections from Laufen, and Kartell by Laufen.

Kartell by Laufen marries Swiss ceramic bathroomware designers Laufen, and iconic Italian manufacturers with a penchant for plastic, Kartell. The bathroom collaboration launched in 2013, and has since opened eponymous stores and showrooms in 60 countries around the world.

Kartell by Laufen - Habitus Living

Blending sophisticated Swiss engineering, with sleek, stylish finishes – the series appears in luxury hotels such as the Park Lane Pullman Hotel in Hong Kong, the Melia Innside Hotel in New York, and the Kuramati Resort & Spa in the Maldives. Led by designers Ludovica and Roberto Palomba, Kartell by Laufen is creative and colourful, fashioning the most striking bathroom environments.

New to the existing range of ceramics, furniture, accessories and baths is a collection of faucets. Kartell by Laufen tapware includes a Roman tub filler, bath and shower mixers and wall mounted spouts. Additionally, Laufen has released two new tapware collections. ‘Cityplus’ conjures the spirit of urban living with lavish surfaces and clean, horizontal lines. A genuine icon of urban lifestyle, the range combines compact proportions with generous form. ‘Twinplus’ is a symphony of slender lines and pure geometries, designed by Andreas Dimitriadis of Platinum Design Studio for Laufen.

MILAN INDESIGN:  One year after its opening, and to celebrate Milan Design Week, the Kartell by Laufen showroom on Via Pontaccio in Milan will unveil a floral installation based on the far east, and aimed at the world of architecture and interior design, while communicating several important phases of the brand’s continued growth within international markets.

The design hunt continues in Milan here.

Kartell by Laufen, and Laufen collections are available in Australia through Reece.
