Kitchen & Bathroom Issue

Habitus 63 is arguably the most aspirational issue of the year with Kitchens & Bathrooms to dream about. Whether a family hub, an entertainer’s paradise or somewhere to grad a quick meal, how we live in and spend time in the kitchen is a very personal question that requires thought and an abundance of resources. Always the aspirational eye candy of design, we have some truly lovely kitchens from Greg Natale, YSG, Splinter Society, Sally Caroline and Studio Johnston. Bathrooms are just as important with Greg Natale, Studio Tate, YSG and Those Architects sharing some fabulous insights

When creating the ME by Starck series, designer Philippe Starck was driven to produce perfectly designed forms are anything but intrusive or dominating, resulting in a range that is able to serve as a framework to the bathroom, allowing users to inject their own personal style around it.

This desire for user control resulted in a wide variety of various size bathtubs, shower trays, toilets, bidets, washbasins, furniture basins, washbowls and vanity basins being the core of the range.

As part of the range, the washbasins emanates a sense of ease and stability, ideal for the modern bathroom, which has come to be seen as a space for relaxation in contemporary design. The basins flaunt thin edges, which appear seamless from every angle.

The vanity storage options of ME by Starck are particularly spacious, aimed to keep the bathroom tidy, as a neat sanctuary space. Available in a large selection of sizes and finishes, the vanities are floor standing with either chrome feet or a plinth panel.
