The New Outdoor Furniture Collection From Blu Dot

Five new outdoor furniture collections have touched down on Australian shores from the American furnishings icon, Blu Dot.


Over the last two decades, Blu Dot has established itself as a forward thinking name in design – a problem solver, designing high-quality, approachable home furnishings. Now, the company is launching an expansive new range of outdoor furniture.

The new outdoor furniture collections are driven by a style that is both practical and beautiful. These designs include of an array of sofas, lounge chairs, coffee tables and side tables all within the signature Blu Dot aesthetic – modern yet versatile.

“Having been frustrated consumers ourselves for great modern outdoor furniture that fit our budget, we saw an opportunity to design for this need,” remarked Blu Dot Australia’s Managing Director Brett Conroy on the new collection, “While we’ve had a limited assortment of outdoor designs in the past, we are really excited to get into this category in a very meaningful way with the launch of these five new collections. I honestly am having a hard time deciding which I want to take home for myself!”

Cache

Designed to withstand the elements of the outdoor environment, Cache’s tubular aluminum frame bends to cradle a comfy cushion seat, upholstered in high-performance Sunbrella fabric. The sofa and lounge chair are perfect for highly sunlight spaces and active audiences.

Perch

The Perch sofas see rectangular teak slats and a matte white aluminum frame cut a stylish and airy piece. Also comprising a lounge chair, sun lounger and ottoman, this collection is made lounge-worthy with cushions covered in Sunbrella fabric.

Dog Days

All-weather rattan adds hand-woven texture to an architectural tubular aluminum frame. Designed to have great vistas from all angles, Dog Days is what happens when a minimalist goes on vacation and gets in touch with their inner hippy.

9 Yard

A fully upholstered and modular outdoor sofa system, 9 Yard can be configured as needed to get the most out of any outdoor space. This lightweight seating is available in two colors and a playful stripe pattern and can be arranged and rearranged to build the perfect geometric landscape.

Circula

Built for the elements, this sophisticatedly simple table collection is fit for patio or palace. The lightweight, powder-coated aluminum tables are both functional and chic, bringing effortless style to any space.
