The Life Outside Issue

Introducing the Life Outside issue of Habitus magazine. With life increasingly being absorbed into a digital space, there is never a more important moment to hold something tangible. In this context, the power of nature to have a physiological impact on our sense of wellbeing has never been more important. So how can we cultivate the benefits of the our natural environment in the most intimate of places – our homes? This was the question that helped to bring this issue of Habitus to life.

Sink into the Shelby Sofa

The Shelby Sofa provides a comforting space to lounge, relax and gather, and ultimately fosters a place where sitters can unwind in style.

The Shelby sofa, designed by G Vegni & G Gualtierotti and manufactured by Barcelona-based Casadesus, is conceived as a linear product – visually, it appears to lift off the ground.

All its volume is supported by slim feet sloped on both ends, and the metallic frame, even if it seems to be very slim, allows to create sofas more than three metres long.

The sofa’s cushions are included, and provide the sitter with extra comfort and design flexibility. The collection permits numerous combinations and in this way, adapts to different environments to create large sofas, sofas with chaise lounge as well as corner sofa solutions.
