The 'Future' Issue

Habitus #64 Welcome to the HABITUS ‘Future’ and ‘Habitus House of the Year’ Issue. We are thrilled to have interior designer of excellence, Brahman Perera, as Guest Editor and to celebrate his Sri Lankan heritage through an interview with Palinda Kannangara and his extraordinary Ek Onkar project – divine! Thinking about the future, we look at the technology shaping our approach to sustainability and the ways traditional materials are enjoying a new-found place in the spotlight. Profiles on Yvonne Todd, Amy Lawrance, and Kallie Blauhorn are rounded out with projects from Studio ZAWA, SJB, Spirit Level, STUDIOLIVE, Park + Associates and a Lake House made in just 40 days by the wonderful Wutopia Lab, plus the short list for the Habitus House of the Year!

Skagerak Vivlio Shelves

By top3 by design

The Vivlio Award Winning Shelf System is a flexible shelving unit that both showcases and conceals. The shelves come in three different heights and colours and may either present their open front to the room or face away to conceal their content.

Vivlio’s options for shelves and frame create a wide number of configuration variations in a celebration of the flexibility and aesthetic of simplicity.

Shelves and frames are sold separately. Mix and match your preference in small, medium or large shelves with your choice of grey or black frame. One frame per shelf. To get an open effect experiment with sections of frame with no shelf. The shelves are made from an ash wood.

Amongst others, Vivlio is the Winner of the RED DOT Design Award 2016.
