Kitchen & Bathroom Issue

Kitchens and bathrooms are, arguably, the most consequential rooms in the home — and almost always the first to be considered. Whether approached through renovation or new build, their design has the power to recalibrate how a home is lived in and experienced. For this issue, our guest editor, Mardi Doherty, principal of Studio Doherty, explores what it truly means to transform these pivotal spaces — and why thoughtful design in kitchens and bathrooms delivers dividends far beyond the purely functional. Her insights both as an architect and as her own client give an open and honest account of the thinking behind creating a home.

Across four new products, Tacchini showcase the varied charm of their design house and how the right designer products can be the finishing touch in a home – on sale now!

Synonymous with iconic Italian craftsmanship and contemporary reinterpretations of classic designs, the Tacchini range of furniture and accessories have long been favourites in the design world.

Serving as powerful reminders the effect that one designer piece can have on a room, the Tacchini range is available now on a 20% off sale at StylecraftHOME for the month of August. Part of this sale includes the four new Habitus Living favourites, Roma, Soap, Ischia, and Face to Face…

Roma

Taking inspiration from iconic mid-twentieth-century design, Roma is a lounge for modern life. Characterised by a soft curving shape, the generously proportioned seat rests on slim legs that belie how comfortable the couch is. Featuring upholstery in house fabric or leather with legs constructed from mild steel and finished to satin chrome, Roma is the item designed to function as centrepiece or final touch.

Soap

Soap is a series of side and coffee tables that help illuminate Gordon Guillaumier’s passion for blending the world’s of minimalism and luxury. The soft shapes and simple lines characterise the table collection, which is available in two sizes.

Ischia

Inspired by the shapes and forms of nature, the Ischia woven rattan screen is designed to complement the existing Ischia modular lounge collection, or stand alone as a space-dividing item. The rattan is always finished to natural with the frame and base to grey powdercoat.

Face to Face

A bold new interpretation for lounge design, Face to Face by Gordon Guillaumier for Tacchini features two backrests mirroring each other, designed for one on one connections and conversations. Upholstered in the Tacchini range of house fabrics or leathers, Face to Face features a cross stitch detail to the seam provides the ultimate level of detail.

These products, and all of the Tacchini range, are currently on sale for 20% off at StylecraftHOME. So if you’re after the final piece to complete your design vision, now’s the time to shop!
