The 'Bespoke' Issue

With Guest Editor Yasmine Ghoniem, we are launched headfirst into the world of unique and eclectic design. From architecture to interiors, there is nothing that can’t be enlivened with bespoke interventions. Granted, a stunningly beautiful home can be made by simply shopping for the best, but when the artist’s hand is introduced, some pure magic is possible. Whether it is an artwork or a new upholstery, a built-in component or a mosaic inlay, these gestures, whether bold or subtle, are what make the home unique.

TILLER Slim Seating

By Didier
View on Site

Streamlined and ready, Didier’s original TILLER Oak range is re-imagined for the contemporary, active space with the TILLER Slim Collection.

Like its preceding line in timber, these finely manufactured chairs and bar stools pay homage to the distinct forms of pre-industrial tilling ploughs. Defined by slender yet sturdy metal frames, each piece is expertly crafted to seamlessly conceal any sign of joins. As with all Didier creations, TILLER Slim combines considered aesthetics with practical utility. Its ergonomic shell is custom moulded, with legs of commercial grade steel encouraging unfussy interaction in high traffic environments. Once the meeting’s over, each TILLER chair stacks easily with any other variation in the collection that including a range of chairs and bar stools and a task chair on castors with gas lift adjustability.

The range also encourages full flexibility and individuality, with seating shells available in natural oak, or painted and stained in custom colours. Similarly, upholstered seat pads are offered in a wide choice of fabrics, vinyls or leathers, and steel frames appear in black, white or silver grey, with optional custom coating.
