Psst… great things happening in Sydney right now, with art and pop-up bars all over the place, from Art Month Sydney throughout March to Joost Bakker’s Greenhouse at Circular Quay. Well, there’s another Sydney institution warming things up this Autumn.
Ray Hughes Gallery in Sydney’s Surry Hills is partnering with ABSOLUT Vodka to present the ABSOLUT Art Collection. The collection – which includes work from Andy Warhol, Louise Bourgeois and Francesco Clemente – will be brought to life in a unique ‘night time’ gallery setting from 18 – 27 March.

The travelling collection is based on artistic interpretations of the iconic ABSOLUT bottle design and has been built upon since it was initiated in the 80s.

Accompanied by the ABSOLUT cocktail bar, live music and a number of other art installations, this bar/gallery hybrid will open each weekday evening (except Mondays) from 6 – 11pm and 2 – 10pm on weekends.
Local Sydney artists have also been invited to paint the new ABSOLUT BERRI AÇAI bottle, continuing the tradition of this unique art collection.
It’s definitely worth checking out if you’re around the traps from the 18 March. We can’t wait!
