Bicicletta Provedore and Cellar

Australia

Rustic and authentic Italian fare finds a new home in Canberra.

The list of Canberra’s culinary experiences has just been extended, with the opening of Bicicletta Provedore & Cellar. Located at the award-winning Diamant Hotel, this eatery is sure to become a new favourite with food-lovers in the Australian capital.

Flashy, obscure ingredients are eschewed for fresh local produce and simple and authentic old-Italian-country techniques. Dishes like spaghetti scoglio, homemade tagliatelle with duck ragu and handmade thin, crispy pizza with pork sausage and porcini mushroom, are complemented by a range of local and international wines.

The kitchen is in expert hands under the direction of executive chef, Luca Zanini, and second chef Davide Barbisan. Both are Venice-born and trained, with experience both internationally (Italy, Germany and London) and locally in Sydney’s popular eateries Mille Vini, Pizza e Birra and Fratelli Paradiso.

Drop in to Bicicletta any day of the week for breakfast, lunch or dinner from 1 February.
