Habitus 63 is arguably the most aspirational issue of the year with Kitchens & Bathrooms to dream about. Whether a family hub, an entertainer’s paradise or somewhere to grad a quick meal, how we live in and spend time in the kitchen is a very personal question that requires thought and an abundance of resources. Always the aspirational eye candy of design, we have some truly lovely kitchens from Greg Natale, YSG, Splinter Society, Sally Caroline and Studio Johnston. In Habitus issue 26, we look at John Wardle Architects’ tree-planting project ‘Waterview’. This year, the team-building retreat was slightly different and they built four structures along the coastal edge on Bruny Island.
Over the long weekend, 22 staff gathered into groups to plant trees and construct four projects, while at the same time building a stronger team and gaining further collaborative tools to take back to the office. Here we see the weekend in pictures.
