The latest edition of the Design Hotels Book is out now, in a new 2-volume format.

It’s landed! The 2011 edition of the Design Hotels Book is out now, but this year it features two volumes to help fit in the 200 design-focussed hotels that are now part of the group as well as the wonderful Made by Originals features.

The 2-book set features profiles of some of the world’s most inspirational hotels and hoteliers – these are people creating unbelievably creative, luxurious and unique hotel spaces. The Made by Originals book (44€) features Shahé Kalaidjian, owner of the Hotel Sezz Saint-Tropez; Alessandro Catenacci, owner of the newly opened Nobis Hotel; the visionary behind Park Hotel Group, Priya Paul and Martin Lee who shares his vision of The Mira Hong Kong.

Each profile invites you to explore their different approaches to hotel design and development while taking a journey in pictures and words around the world’s most amazing locations.

If they’d had to squeeze all this in with their 200 hotels it would have made for a heavy book! So the second volume (currently only available with the collector’s 2-book set) takes a look at each one of the hotels, giving you detailed information on the designs and locations with stunning imagery.

The limited edition collector’s set (69€) is available for a short time only, but comes in a beautiful cardboard package design by Berlin-based MaginWulf Studios.

Head over to the Design Hotels Shop to pick up your copy.
