Holidays with heart – Elegant Resorts marry indulgence with
individuality

A relaxing getaway in a tropical paradise is a wonderful dream; top that off with a holiday itinerary customised to your every wish – pure heaven.

With their tagline ‘Island experiences beyond the ordinary’, Elegant Resorts and Villas believe that ‘no two holidays should be the same’. Tailoring each holiday to the desired location and activities, they arrange myriad tour packages – whether for romantic getaways, family holidays or just restful retreats.

“We identified a niche in the market for beautiful islands, high-end resorts, and the best bungalows and villas for clients demanding the best of the best,” says Glenda McMillan-Andersson, General Manager of Elegant Resorts and Villas.

Among the most popular destinations are Tahiti, Seychells, Maldives, Fiji and Mauritius. Each location has been hand-picked by the Elegant Resorts team, who are committed to providing “magical packages to suit any budget”, according to McMillan-Andersson.

Holiday-goers seeking an even more exclusive destination can indulge in the opulence of private islands in French Polynesia, the Pacific and Indian Ocean and be pampered by a personal butler, chef and a crewed yacht. Special requests to add a personalised touch to each holiday are also available.

“One very memorable exercise was having 1000 white roses flown in to a private island in the Maldives where a stunning private dining pavilion was set up. The beach was smothered in petals and the scene was set for a proposal. A honeymoon followed a few months later,” says McMillan-Andersson.

If a holiday away from the beach is not your preferred option, scenic Italian villas and apartments in bustling European cities are also part of Elegant Resorts’ repertoire.
