The 'Bespoke' Issue

With Guest Editor Yasmine Ghoniem, we are launched headfirst into the world of unique and eclectic design. From architecture to interiors, there is nothing that can’t be enlivened with bespoke interventions. Granted, a stunningly beautiful home can be made by simply shopping for the best, but when the artist’s hand is introduced, some pure magic is possible. Whether it is an artwork or a new upholstery, a built-in component or a mosaic inlay, these gestures, whether bold or subtle, are what make the home unique.

Terrace Outdoor Pop-up

Australia

Get along to the Terrace Outdoor Living Pop-up shop in Sydney’s Woollahra for everything you need to enjoy summer.

Habitus magazine’s own Contributing Style Editor, Paul Jospeh Hopper, opens his new pop-up outdoor furniture store on 4 December, with collaborator Bianca Moore.

Following the success of the pair’s website, Terrace Outdoor Living, the new pop-up will feature the latest in outdoor trends, from furniture to homewares and accessories.

“As a stylist I have had access to a fantastic range of home & garden furniture and objects,” Paul says. “The retail presence gives us the opportunity for our clients to experience the latest and most interesting selection on offer.”

Paul has worked with Habitus since our first product shoot in issue 04, and his keen eye and styling talents have been instrumental in making the ‘in camera’ section so successful.

If you like what you see in ‘in camera’ then you’ll love what’s on offer at the Terrace pop-up store. Both Paul and Bianca will be on hand to provide consultation, custom upholstery, styling and event planning services – you’ll have your whole outdoor summer set with these two.

Terrace will be stocking top brands from Mexico, to Europe and Australian designs, as well as products exclusive to Terrace. The shop is also supported by Chandon and Avido Restaurant and Wine Garden.

You can visit the shop at 47 Queens St, Woollahra, Sydney. Or, if you’re not able to make it, check out the online store here.
