Cantilever’s latest kitchen created in collaboration with Kett is called EDIT – which spelled backwards reads’ tide’. Taking inspiration from the recurring rhythm of a wave and its visual and emotive qualities, an affinity with the natural world informs the creative process, the colour palette and the kitchen’s engaging materiality.
When Cantilever was invited to co-design the kitchen space in Cosh Living’s new Richmond showroom along with furniture design studio Kett, the vision was clear. As the unquestionable heart of any home, the kitchen is an intuitive household junction all family and friends gravitate towards – and it was the universal and innately familiar appeal of this essential household space the design team set out to encapsulate. The result was EDIT.
