Cooling for the future

Gaggenau

Gaggenau has introduced the New Generation of Cooling, a reimagined suite of refrigeration appliances designed to integrate seamlessly into high-end kitchen architecture.

Building on the brand’s ever-consistent reputation for quality alongside its tradition of precision engineering and minimalism, the launch of Gaggenau’s New Generation of Cooling is here. The collection reflects a strong emphasis on materiality, performance and user-centric design.

The New Generation of Cooling includes refrigerators, freezers and wine climate cabinets, all characterised by a refined aesthetic that blends effortlessly with contemporary kitchen interiors. The visual language is defined by handleless doors, seamless integration and clean geometric forms. High-quality materials such as glass and brushed stainless steel dominate both the interior and exterior, reinforcing Gaggenau’s architecturally resonant approach and eliminating visual noise.

One of the defining aspects of the user experience is the focus on discretion and clarity. The interiors are composed of solid glass shelving, brushed metal elements and soft-close mechanisms, ensuring a quiet, tactile interaction. Uniform lighting enhances visibility without distraction, while each appliance is designed to provide a consistent and intuitive layout across product types.

Meanwhile, modularity is central to the system’s concept. The cooling columns are designed to be installed individually or in combinations, with the flexibility to accommodate a range of configurations and kitchen designs. This approach offers architects and homeowners the ability to create tailored solutions that prioritise both function and spatial harmony.

Performance features include advanced humidity and temperature control systems, ensuring food and wine preservation across multiple climate zones. The wine cabinets, for example, support three independently adjustable zones, catering to different varietals and storage conditions. Integration with Gaggenau’s Home Connect app then extends the experience beyond the physical product, offering remote monitoring and control, along with alerts and diagnostics.

Sustainability is also addressed through energy-efficient components and the use of long-lasting materials. By focusing on durability, adaptability and understated luxury, the New Generation of Cooling represents Gaggenau’s commitment to timeless design and elevated consumer experience in the home.
