Kitchen & Bathroom Issue

Habitus 63 is arguably the most aspirational issue of the year with Kitchens & Bathrooms to dream about. Whether a family hub, an entertainer’s paradise or somewhere to grad a quick meal, how we live in and spend time in the kitchen is a very personal question that requires thought and an abundance of resources. Always the aspirational eye candy of design, we have some truly lovely kitchens from Greg Natale, YSG, Splinter Society, Sally Caroline and Studio Johnston. Bathrooms are just as important with Greg Natale, Studio Tate, YSG and Those Architects sharing some fabulous insights

The launch party: Habitus #63 x Greg Natale

Greg Natale

The latest issue of Habitus magazine has been launched at an intimate, glamorous event hosted by Greg Natale in Sydney.

On Thursday 3rd July, 2025, Sydney’s design community gathered at Greg Natale’s showroom in Potts Point to celebrate the launch of Habitus #63. Natale was this issue’s Guest Editor, working alongside Gillian Serisier to craft a highly varied and beautiful magazine focusing on Kitchen & Bathroom.

In this issue, there is some truly lovely work from Greg NataleYSG, Splinter Society, Sally Caroline and Studio Johnston. Bathrooms are just as important as kitchens too, with Studio Tate, YSG, Those Architects and of course Greg Natale sharing some fabulous insights.

Intimate and jovial, the launch party saw designers, artists and people across the wider design industry come together in celebration. Formalities were limited to a short joint speech with Natale, with the showroom providing a warmly local and connected backdrop.

Every home featured in this issue is wonderful, with our usual Indo-Pacific coverage taking a stretch to include Greg Natale’s project in New York and an unbelievably lush apartment in Kiev by Yana Molodykh. Closer to home, Portsea House by AM Architecture is an open and contemporary pavilion with modernist leanings.

Beautiful moments of colour and form abound in Studio Doherty’s South Yarra House. Modernism is writ large with David Langston-Jones’ divine Little Young St containing everything needed, but nothing more. Wharf House by Arent&Pyke thinks about its place and how to live better. For a bit of hospitality fun and some great design Cibaria by Luchetti Krelle is a visual delight. Also in hospitality, The Eve Hotel by SJB is simply brilliant.
