Kitchen & Bathroom Issue

Habitus 63 is arguably the most aspirational issue of the year with Kitchens & Bathrooms to dream about. Whether a family hub, an entertainer’s paradise or somewhere to grad a quick meal, how we live in and spend time in the kitchen is a very personal question that requires thought and an abundance of resources. Always the aspirational eye candy of design, we have some truly lovely kitchens from Greg Natale, YSG, Splinter Society, Sally Caroline and Studio Johnston. Bathrooms are just as important with Greg Natale, Studio Tate, YSG and Those Architects sharing some fabulous insights

A milestone celebration with Space Furniture

Space is a furniture brand that has consistently brought the best of European design to our side of the world. Now having hit 30 years, a special guest of honour – B&B Italia Creative Director Piero Lissoni – visited in a whirlwind down under tour.

With events across Melbourne, Sydney and Singapore, Space Furniture brought the design world alive recently as part of its 30th anniversary celebrations.

Melbourne was the first cab off the rank with a stunning soiree. Designers came out in force and were not disappointed with a gorgeous archive installation that highlighted the brand’s evolution. An oyster bar and photo booth added to the festivities, while the memorable moment came with Piero Lissoni taking the stage to address the crowd.

Sydney followed with a similarly extravagant affair – and the design community equally came out to celebrate.

The crowning moment, however, was the unveiling of Space Furniture’s newly renovated Singapore flagship showroom, a project led by the acclaimed architects at WOHA. The revamped flagship showroom symbolises Space’s continuous evolution and dedication to staying at the forefront of design excellence.

Reflecting on three decades of design innovation and creativity, Space Furniture expressed its gratitude to the design community and its loyal clientele for such unwavering support.

The milestone marks not only a celebration of the stalwart’s achievements but also a tribute to the deep and meaningful connections that have been forged with clients and industry around the Asia Pacific.

A curated design exhibition came to life in each of the showroom’s and highlighted Space’s storied history while providing a unique perspective on the brand’s evolution. The success of the week-long celebration is a testament to Space Furniture’s dedication to quality, innovation, and unwavering passion for design.

Congratulations to Space Furniture on 30 years of excellence, and here’s to many more years of design innovation and inspiration!
