ASKO

With its new DW60 dishwasher series, ASKO brings Scandinavian design, advanced hygiene technology and long-lasting performance to the contemporary kitchen.

In the contemporary kitchen, performance is increasingly expected to be seamless: powerful enough to handle the demands of everyday life, quiet enough to disappear into the background and considered enough to complement the spaces it resides within. The new ASKO DW60 dishwasher series approaches the humble dishwasher with precisely this philosophy, combining Scandinavian restraint with engineering designed for longevity, hygiene and efficiency.

Recognised with an iF Design Award 2026, the DW60 is defined by clean lines and a considered interface, but its real sophistication lies beneath the surface. With capacity for up to 16 place settings across three flexible basket levels and operating as quietly as 38 dB(A), it is designed for the open-plan kitchen where technology needs to perform without demanding attention.

At the heart of the series is ASKO’s patented UV Cleanse mode, which uses UV-C LED technology during the final rinse to eliminate up to 99.99999 per cent of bacteria, fungi and viruses. Crucially, the technology can also be used alongside the low-temperature ECO programme, bringing a high level of hygiene to an energy-conscious cycle.

Longevity is equally central to the DW60. ASKO’s 8 Steel construction uses high-grade stainless steel for eight critical components, including the container, loading racks, spray arms, strainers, base, feet and inner door. The result is a machine conceived not as a short-term appliance but as a durable piece of kitchen infrastructure.

That philosophy extends to environmental performance. The Adaptive Green mode assesses the soil level of each load to optimise water and energy use, consuming as little as 7.5 litres per cycle. Up to 95 per cent of the machine is recyclable, while Auto Dose™ stores enough detergent for approximately 30 days and dispenses the precise amount required according to soil level and water hardness.

Inside, flexibility is paramount. The DW60 offers up to 63 centimetres of vertical loading height in XXL models, accommodating everything from delicate glassware to large pots, pans and baking trays. Its Flexi Racks system, combined with up to 10 spray zones and ASKO’s Super Cleaning System, removes the need for manual pre-rinsing while ensuring water reaches every part of the load.

Even the details are intelligently resolved. Status Light communicates the machine’s progress through colour, while Night Mode reduces operating noise further. Turbo Combi Drying™ uses sensors to respond to ambient kitchen temperature, automatically adjusting when the door opens to optimise drying and energy use.

For an appliance designed to be heard less and thought about less, connectivity adds another layer of convenience. Through the ConnectLife app, users can monitor cycles, adjust settings and control the dishwasher remotely.

Ultimately, the DW60 embodies a distinctly ASKO approach: technology that is sophisticated without being showy, durable without being cumbersome and intelligent enough to simplify rather than complicate daily life. In short, it is part of the architecture of living well.
