Quiet design for the everyday: Laminex’s Wardrobe Range

Laminex

Laminex has launched its new Wardrobes Range, a refined collection of purpose-made boards for wardrobes, walk-ins and internal joinery.

In the rhythm of daily life, the wardrobe has evolved from a place of storage to a small sanctuary of self-expression. It is where the day begins and ends — a space of ritual, reflection and quiet order. With its new Wardrobes Range, Laminex reimagines this personal room, offering materials that allow homeowners and designers to create wardrobes that are as functional as they are considered.

The wardrobe has become more than a place to get ready. It is a space of daily ritual, and the new Wardrobes Range extends this philosophy beyond the kitchen, offering a refined collection of purpose-made boards for wardrobes, walk-ins and bespoke internal joinery.

Building on Laminex’s trusted design sensibility, the Wardrobes Range allows homeowners and designers to craft spaces that feel cohesive and characterful. Whether continuing a material palette from the kitchen or creating a distinct design moment in the bedroom, the range offers the flexibility to design a wardrobe that reflects its owner.

“Bedrooms and wardrobes have become spaces of retreat — places that balance function with feeling,” says Rachel Oakley, Head of Marketing at Laminex. “The Wardrobes Range makes it possible to design storage that is beautifully resolved and entirely personal — a quiet luxury that elevates the way we live every day.”

Crafted in Australia, the collection is tailored for modern residential joinery, with a practical 16mm thickness and 2400 x 1200mm sheet size. It spans 24 SKUs across 16 of Laminex’s most sought-after decors and finishes, from the soft warmth of woodgrain decors such as Light Walnut, Calm Oak and Victorian Ash TrueScale™ to the contemporary depth of Stormcloud and Midnight Oak TrueScale™. Available in Natural, Flint and AbsoluteGrain™ finishes, each surface introduces gentle texture and tactility that enrich the atmosphere of the bedroom.

True to Laminex’s legacy as an Australian design icon, the range unites form and function. Every board is scratch, stain and impact resistant, UV stable and moisture resistant, ensuring its beauty endures.

Visualised through a suite of interiors, the Wardrobes Range reveals its versatility — Light Walnut TrueScale in AbsoluteGrain™ creates a natural sense of calm, while Midnight Oak TrueScale with Stormcloud accents lends a darker, more architectural mood.

With this considered addition, Laminex reinforces its commitment to materials that support the rhythm of everyday life — transforming not only the spaces we live in, but the moments we move through.
