Kitchen & Bathroom Issue

Habitus 63 is arguably the most aspirational issue of the year with Kitchens & Bathrooms to dream about. Whether a family hub, an entertainer’s paradise or somewhere to grad a quick meal, how we live in and spend time in the kitchen is a very personal question that requires thought and an abundance of resources. Always the aspirational eye candy of design, we have some truly lovely kitchens from Greg Natale, YSG, Splinter Society, Sally Caroline and Studio Johnston. Bathrooms are just as important with Greg Natale, Studio Tate, YSG and Those Architects sharing some fabulous insights

The StandardX Melbourne hosts Pep pepper pop-up

The StandardX Melbourne is hosting a rather unique event as Pep black pepper launches limited-edition ‘Pepfume’ through an AromatiX pop-up.

Scent and spice are taking centre stage this June as premium black pepper Pep kicks off AromatiX, a two-week long pop-up at The StandardX Melbourne, in collaboration with Crushes and Saison Aperitifs.

Opening Friday 13th June, Pep and partners will celebrate the heady world of olfactory perception in The StandardX’s ‘The Box,’ led by the launch of Pepfume – a limited-edition fragrance created in collaboration with Crushes florist and perfumer Briony Wright.

Concocted with Pep’s signature Cambodian peppercorns and aromatic complexity at its heart, Pepfume’s layers of cedar wood and bergamot are balanced with citrus and a dose of Iso E Super to make it shine. The result: a peppery, woody, green-centred scent that’s as bold as it is wearable.

The limited edition bottles – created for every body – will be available exclusively at The StandardX throughout AromatiX, with any remaining stock released online at eatpep.com from 27th June.

The Box’s AromatiX set-up will feature floral installations by Crushes Flowers, a curated range of Saison Aperitifs vermouths and amaros, alongside Pep grinders and refill boxes.

AromatiX also includes a private dining experience with BANG at The StandardX, again in collaboration with Crushes and Saison Apéritifs.

Next up: An interview with the eccentric Philippe Starck in Milan
